“ALS Meeting Gone so Wrong”

So, yesterday.... there was a conference call between several people and it had to do with a senator as well on funding and what's next for ALS. It was a very emotional, heart breaking, heart felt meeting.... and people living with ALS were attending the zoom, and there were people also in the actual room living with ALS, and were telling their stories on how it's affected them, their families, and home life... etc. Then, all of the sudden, pictures of Porn, and men started talking back and forth in German or accents of some kind, and were so loud and rude and obnoxious/aggressive.... and a man with ALS was speaking at the time.... he was trying to tell his story, and they kept on and on and this was such an important meeting for the community of ALS.... so I simply said please get off our meeting- please find it in your hearts to get off our meeting this is a very serious matter.... and then, he tells me Kristi Cole I F*****d you and your mother..... and I paused, and I said thank you so much for saying and doing this today, bc my mother actually died 10 years ago from this !!! And I got off the meeting bawling my eyes out.... I had the worst day yesterday... the worst. I was heartbroken, so saddened that such animals could do something like that with NO CARE IN THE WORLD!!!!! and just kept on!!! I'm sorry for the rant, I just needed a little help and support from it... very hurt over this for our community. Thanks. That's all I got.
